Job Description

At BuchananCody, we’re seeking a dynamic and organized Communications Assistant to support our team in delivering engaging, clear, and impactful communication across our company’s channels. You’ll play a vital role in crafting content, maintaining our brand voice, and ensuring messages resonate with our internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, editing, and distributing communications materials (emails, newsletters, press releases, social media posts).
  • Coordinate and support communication campaigns to boost company visibility and engagement.
  • Conduct research to support content development and media outreach.
  • Manage updates to internal and external communication channels (intranet, website, social media).
  • Assist in tracking communication effectiveness and provide reporting insights.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
